Rajeshwari Mahalingam

Rajeshwari Mahalingam is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in pediatric neurology and epilepsy. Currently serving as an Attending Physician at Northeast Regional Epilepsy Group since April 2023, Rajeshwari has previously held significant roles including Medical Director of Clinical Development at Praxis Precision Medicines, Inc., and Pediatric Neurologist at THE INSTITUTE OF NEUROLOGY & NEUROSURGERY AT ST BARNABAS. Prior to these positions, Rajeshwari worked as a Pediatric Neurologist and Epileptologist at Goryeb Children’s Hospital and completed a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Additional experience includes an Assistant Professor role at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, residency training at New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center, and earlier training at The Brooklyn Hospital Center and Southend General Hospital. Rajeshwari holds an M.B.B.S. degree in Medicine.
