Jana Ellegast

Jana Ellegast, MD, serves as Assistant Professor and Attending Physician at the University of Zurich since November 2023. Previously, Jana held the position of Sidney Farber Scholar and Principal Investigator at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute from July 2023 to November 2023, and worked as an Instructor at Harvard Medical School from September 2022 to November 2023. Jana's extensive experience in oncology research includes a role as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute from August 2016 to August 2022, and as a Clinical Fellow in Medical Oncology at University Hospital Zürich from May 2012 to June 2016. Jana began training as a Resident Physician at Universitätsklinikum Ulm from February 2009 to May 2012. Educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Technical University of Munich, along with advanced studies in Immunology, completing a Dr. med. at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
