Patrick Avila Fache

Patrick Avila FACHE, MBA has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Patrick started their career as a Physical Therapist at Liberty Hospital in 1996. Patrick then held various roles at the hospital, including Coordinator of Outpatient Services and Director of Rehab Services. From 2011 to 2012, they served as the Interim-Assistant Administrator at Liberty Hospital.

In 2012, Avila joined Lee's Summit Medical Center as the Director of Rehab Services and later became the Associate Administrator and Ethics and Compliance Officer. Patrick then moved to Research Medical Center in 2015, where they served as the VP of Operations and Ethics and Compliance Officer.

Avila's career progression continued at Belton Regional Medical Center, where they served as the Chief Operations Officer and Ethics & Compliance Officer from 2017 to 2020. After that, they joined Merrick Medical Center as the President/CEO from 2020 to 2023.

Most recently, Avila has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer at Northeast Regional Medical Center starting in September 2023. Their experience in various leadership roles and their expertise in operations and ethics make him a valuable asset in the healthcare industry.

Patrick began their academic journey by completing their undergraduate studies at Kansas State University from 1989 to 1993, where they received a degree in Life Sciences. Following this, Avila pursued a Master of Science in Physical Therapy (MSPT) from The University of Kansas, completing the program between 1993 and 1995. Seeking further professional development, they then enrolled in the University of Missouri-Kansas City and earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from 2000 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Avila has also obtained the FACHE certification from the American College of Healthcare Executives. Although the exact time of their certification is unmentioned, this further demonstrates their commitment to continuous learning and professional growth in the healthcare sector.
