Emma Marks

Emma Marks currently serves as a Grant Program Specialist and Technical Committee Member at Northeast SARE since September 2020. Previously, Emma worked as a Sales and Marketing Associate at Vermont Compost Company Inc. from November 2021 to November 2023, Assistant Manager at Freedom Food Farm from February 2021 to November 2021, and completed an apprenticeship at Amber Waves in 2020. Notably, during the time at Wilmington College, Emma was a Student Promoter for the Clinton County Succeeds Program, leading to a significant increase in enrollment. Additional experience includes interning at the Asian Rural Institute, focusing on graduate outreach and sustainable farming, and at Farm Credit Mid-America, where Emma contributed to research and policy development in agricultural finance. Emma is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Leadership Studies at Vermont Technical College, with an expected graduation in May 2026.
