Kimberly Wyard

CEO at Northeast Valley Health Corporation

Kimberly Wyard serves as Chief Executive Officer of Northeast Valley Health Corporation, a position she has held since 1996. Ms. Wyard first joined the staff of NEVHC in 1974, the year after NEVHC opened its first health center in the City of San Fernando. During the intervening years as NEVHC has grown to 13 health centers providing over 240,000 medical and dental visits a year, she has held various positions including Director of an Adolescent Health Program, Clinic Administrator and Deputy Director. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and completed graduate course work in public health at California State University, Northridge.

A native Californian and San Fernando Valley resident, Ms. Wyard currently serves as President on the Board of Directors of Healthcare LA, IPA, a safety net IPA composed mostly of community health centers and clinics. She is a member of the Community Clinic Association of Los Angeles County and served on the CCALAC Board of Directors from 2000-2011, and is also a member of the California Primary Care Association and of the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC). Kim is also a past member of the LA Care Health Plan Board of Governors representing federally qualified health centers from 2000-2008.
