Director, Business Development - Mid-atlantic & Midwest, U.s.a. at Northeast - Western Energy Systems

Amir Ali, MBA, is an experienced professional with a diverse background in business development, sales, and operations. Amir currently serves as the Director of Business Development Microgrid Solutions for Northeast - Western Energy Systems, where they focus on expanding their presence in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. Prior to this role, Amir was the Director of Product Support Operations for the same company, overseeing operations in the Northeast region.

Before joining Northeast - Western Energy Systems, Amir worked as a Regional Sales Manager for CECO Environmental Corporation, where they were responsible for managing sales in the Northeast and Midwest regions of the United States.

Amir also has a wealth of experience in the power generation industry, having worked for Cummins Power Generation in various roles, including Regional Sales Manager for the Northeastern United States, Oil & Gas Drilling Market Manager globally, Sales Training Manager for North America, Branch Manager in Abu Dhabi, and Power Generation Sales Manager in Abu Dhabi.

Prior to their time at Cummins Power Generation, Amir worked as a Project Engineer for Mantrac Group, focusing on oil and gas power applications. Amir also served as an Electrical Consultant Engineer at Vision Architect and Design Engineering Consultants, as well as an Automation Engineer at Flash Electromechanical Contracting.

Amir holds an MBA degree and has a proven track record of driving growth, developing sales strategies, and leading teams to achieve sales targets. Amir is a highly skilled professional with a strong understanding of the power generation industry.

Amir Ali, MBA, has a strong educational background in both business administration and power electrical engineering. Amir obtained their Master's degree in Business Administration from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, where they studied from 2008 to 2010. Prior to their MBA, Amir completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Power Electrical Engineering at Alexandria University, where they attended from 1994 to 1999.

In addition to their formal education, Amir has also pursued further professional development by obtaining a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Cummins Inc. in December 2013.
