Shannon Wittmaack has extensive experience in the education sector, currently serving as a Permanent Elementary Teacher with the Northeastern Catholic District School Board since June 2017, and also working as an Occasional Teacher for the District School Board Ontario North East since September 2007. Prior roles include Assistant Librarian at the Temiskaming Law Association from October 2014 to July 2020 and President of the District Ontario Northeast for the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario from September 2012 to July 2020. Shannon holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from the State University of New York College at Potsdam (2005-2006) and a Bachelor’s degree with an Honours Major in English and Minor in History from Carleton University (2001-2004), along with studies at Brock University (2000-2001).
