Dana Wright

Dana Wright is a Professor of Education at Northeastern University since July 2022 and has authored the book Active Learning: Social Justice Education and Participatory Action Research. Wright has also co-edited the book Engaging Youth in Critical Arts Pedagogies and Creative Research for Social Justice: Opportunities and Challenges of Arts-based Work and Research with Young People. Prior to Northeastern University, Wright served as a Professor of Education and Department Chair at Mills College from 2019 to February 2024 and held the position of Associate Professor and Education Department Chair at Connecticut College from 2009 to 2019. Wright obtained a Doctorate and an M.A. in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and earned a BA from Vassar College.
