Peter Schindler

Peter Schindler is an experienced physicist currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Northeastern University, where Peter leads the Data-Driven Renewables Research (D2R2) Group. In parallel, Peter is a Scientific Advisory Board Member for Aionics, Inc. and previously held the position of Senior Scientist at the same company. Peter's academic journey includes roles as a Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Vienna and an Adjunct Researcher at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Peter has collaborated with Stanford University in various capacities, contributing to significant projects and establishing machine learning models for material surface work functions. Peter earned a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Vienna and has been actively involved in research, including high-impact projects with major companies. Additionally, Peter has experience as an undergraduate research assistant and a research intern, focusing on innovative materials and quantum structures.
