Patricia Launer

Patricia Launer has worked as a Director of Quality / Infection Preventionist at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital since July 2019. Prior to this role, they were an Infection Preventionist/Quality Improvement Specialist at the same hospital from January 2018 to July 2019. Before joining Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital, they worked as a Community Health Quality Manager/Director of Quality at Bi-State Primary Care Association since February 2011.

Patricia Launer, RN, CPHQ, CIC has a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Vermont, which they obtained from 1978 to 1982. Patricia also has an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Castleton University, earned from 1984 to 1986. In addition, they hold a Graduate Certificate in Health Information Technology from the University of Colorado Boulder, completed between 2011 and 2013. Patricia has obtained certifications in healthcare quality, including being a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) from the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ), acquired in April 2008, and being Certified in Infection Control (CIC) from the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (CBIC), obtained in June 2020.
