Thomas Wood

Thomas Wood is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in digital internal communications and social media management. Currently serving as a Digital Internal Communications Executive at Northern since October 2017, Thomas focuses on developing digital channels and creating engaging content to enhance employee engagement across the organization. Prior roles include Assistant Manager and Social Media Champion at Mitchells & Butlers PLC, where Thomas successfully managed teams and enhanced the company's social media presence, as well as serving as Shop Manager at Sorrento Pizza and a Volunteer Street Angel in York. Thomas’s career began as a self-employed videographer, providing a strong foundation in communication and media production, further supported by academic credentials including a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Film and Television Production from York St. John University.
