Matt Pitman

Matt Pitman is an experienced professional in stakeholder relations and communications, currently serving as the Director of Stakeholder Relations and Communications at the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility since September 2018. Previously, Matt held roles including Communications Manager at Whitehaven Coal, Communications Manager at Australian Power & Gas, and Senior Project Officer for the NSW Government. Internationally, Matt served as a Senior Parliamentary/Comms Manager/Press Secretary for Rt. Hon Jim Knight MP in the UK and worked on the Barack Obama presidential campaign as a press assistant and field organizer. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Investor Relations and a National Certificate in Journalism. Matt's diverse background encompasses strong experience in media relations, strategic communications, and stakeholder engagement across various sectors.
