B.raj Sharma

B.Raj Sharma has extensive experience in information security, working in various roles over the years. B.Raj started their career at Eastern Bank in 2004 as a Technology Risk Officer and then moved on to become an AVP- Information Security Officer in 2005. From there, they progressed to the role of Vice President- Senior Information Security Officer in 2010 and later became the Vice President- Security Architecture & IT Risk Management Manager in 2015. In 2017, they took on the role of Vice President- Information Security Specialist (Cyber Security Manager) before joining Northern Bank in 2018 as the Vice President- Head of Information Security. B.Raj Sharma holds certifications in CISSP, CISM, CISA, and CRISC.

B.Raj Sharma holds a Master of Science degree in Information Security from Brandeis University, which they obtained between 2008 and 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in MIS & Finance from Anna Maria College, from 1997 to 2001. In addition to their academic achievements, they have obtained multiple certifications including the Certification in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). The institutions granting these certifications include ISACA and (ISC)².
