Bing Sun

Bing Sun's work experience includes a role as a Staff Scientist at Bio-Rad Laboratories starting in November 2022. Prior to that, Bing held multiple research positions at NCIRE - The Northern California Institute for Research and Education, including roles as a Research Scientist Associate, Staff Research Associate IV, and Staff Research Associate III, spanning from July 2004 to April 2020. Bing also worked as a Postdoc at UCSF from September 2001 to June 2004. Bing's earliest documented work experience was as an Attending Doctor at Third Hospital, Jilin University from July 1995 to July 1998.

Bing Sun obtained an MD degree in Medicine from Jilin University, starting in 1988 and ending in 1995. Following that, Bing Sun pursued a PhD in Medical Sciences at Peking University from 1998 to 2001. In addition to these education experiences, Bing Sun received various certifications in bioinformatics, statistics, data analysis, and related fields from institutions such as edX, Coursera, Expert Cytometry, and Harvardx on edX between 2013 and 2015.
