Chanda Williams

Chanda Williams has extensive work experience in the field of research and wellness program management. Chanda is currently working as a Research Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco, where they are conducting a qualitative pilot study as part of the UCSF Osher Center's Training in Research in Integrative Medicine program. Prior to this, Chanda worked as a Research Specialist at NCIRE - The Veterans Health Research Institute. In addition, they have worked in various organizations as a Trauma Informed Yoga Therapist and Yoga Teacher Trainer, providing personalized yoga instruction for injury recovery, chronic conditions, stress management, and overall well-being. Chanda also has experience as a Strategic Wellness Project Manager at McKesson, where they managed a large project budget and established collaborative relationships with stakeholders and vendors. Furthermore, they served as a Wellness Program Manager at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, where they developed and administered successful wellness programs resulting in improved employee health outcomes and cost savings for the company.

Chanda Williams' education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco in 2011 to 2012. Afterwards, they enrolled at the California Institute of Integral Studies to complete a Master of Arts degree in Integrative Health Studies, alongside obtaining an Integrative Wellness Coaching Certificate. Additionally, Chanda is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Depth Psychology with a specialization in Somatic Studies, which they began in 2019 at Pacifica Graduate Institute.
