Emily S. has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Emily started their career as a Service Area Assistant at Sanford Health, where they coordinated and supported various clinical education programs. Emily then worked as a Business Development Associate at CSM, Inc. before joining Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota as a Health Benefit Consultant, specializing in the sale and service of individual health insurance plans. Emily also served as a Marketing Specialist at Noridian Insurance Services, Inc., a subsidiary of BlueCross BlueShield of ND, where they focused on selling optional and supplemental insurance products. After that, they joined Discovery Benefits as a Senior Account Manager, managing key clients and building strong relationships with employers and consultants. Emily then worked as the Marketing Director at Park Gardens, a Tealwood Senior Living community, where they were responsible for business development and community relationship management. Most recently, they served at Northern Contours in various roles, including Benefits & HRIS Specialist, Payroll & Benefits Manager, and currently as the Director of Corporate Recruitment & Total Compensation.

Emily S. obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Healthcare Management - Administration from Concordia College from the years 2006 to 2010. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications in the field of insurance. These include AHIP Certification from AHIP Center for Insurance, Affordable Care Act and Marketplace Basics from Health Insurance Marketplace, Medicare Certification Training from Medicare Blue Solutions, and Producer of Accident and Health as well as Producer of Life and Annuity from the North Dakota Department of Insurance. Emily received these certifications in various months and years, with the most recent being in September 2013.
