Canery has extensive experience in basketball coaching and player development, currently serving as Head Women’s Basketball Coach and Men’s Basketball Head Assistant & Player Development Coach at Northern Essex Community College since August 2020. Northern Essex Community College (NECC) in Haverhill, Massachusettseducates and trains residents of all ages and backgrounds living in theMerrimack Valley.Academics at NECC consist of more than 90 degree and certificateprograms. Subject areas include liberal and performing arts, sciences,education, criminal justice, deaf studies, paralegalstudies, businessand health-related fields among others.NECC’s students may earn a career-based degree intended to prepare themfor the workforce or a degree in preparation for a transfer to afour-year university.A combination of high school aged, young adult and mature adult studentsattend NECC.
