Fiona Marston OBE, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in investment and consultancy roles. Currently, Fiona serves as an Investment Committee Member at Northern Gritstone and as a Royal Society Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Reading. Fiona is the Chair and CEO of Erebagen, a synthetic biology company dedicated to optimizing bioactive products from microbes. As Managing Partner at RFM Associates, Fiona provides business management consultancy to startups. Previous roles include Non Executive Director at Alder Hey Children's Hospital and advisor to the UK Innovation & Science Seed Fund. With a strong academic background, including an MBA from London Business School, a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of East Anglia, and a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Kent, Fiona's expertise spans across entrepreneurship, innovation, and scientific research.
