Glenn Houston

Glenn Houston is an experienced professional in health and social care governance, currently serving as an Independent Board Member for the Public Prosecution Service Northern Ireland and as a Non-Executive Director for the Northern Health and Social Care Trust. Since 2017, Glenn Houston has held the position of Chairman at the Jersey Care Commission and previously served as a Non-Executive Director for the Disclosure and Barring Service and the Human Tissue Authority. From 2009 to 2016, Glenn Houston was the Chief Executive of the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA), regulating a wide range of independent health services in Northern Ireland. Earlier career roles include Executive Director of Social Work at the Northern Health and Social Care Trust and Chief Executive at Craigavon and Banbridge Community Trust.
