Ciro Panessa

Ciro relocated to the Northwest with his family in 2014. Ciro has experience in nursing practice and leadership positions at Vancouver General Hospital, Vancouver Coastal Health, PHSA’s BC Centre for Disease Control, and the Ministry of Health. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of British Columbia. In addition, he is a qualified, non-practicing Family Nurse Practitioner.

He is also currently an Adjunct Professor at the UBC School of Nursing. Ciro is keenly interested in health equity and designing health services that partner with communities to reach and engage people in the best possible way.
