Bart Sharp

Bart Sharp is an accomplished academic and professional with extensive experience in management and entrepreneurship. Since August 2008, Bart has served as the Management Department Chair, Professor, and Mike and Kristina McGrath Professor of Entrepreneurship at Northern Illinois University. Prior roles include Associate and Assistant Professor, and Instructor at the same institution. Bart's consulting experience includes a role as Intrapreneurship Coordinator at IDEAL INDUSTRIES, INC from October 2018 to January 2020, where responsibilities included leading the selection of students for an Intrapreneurship Program and fostering a culture of innovation. Bart's educational background includes a PhD in Strategic Management from Purdue University, an MBA from Middle Tennessee State University, and a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University, complemented by a foundational education at Case Western Reserve University and the Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, & Humanities.
