Brad Cripe

Brad Cripe has extensive experience in academia, currently serving as the Interim Chair of the Department of Finance and holding the Donald E. Kieso Endowed Chair in Accountancy at Northern Illinois University since August 2006. As a Distinguished Teaching Professor and Professor of Accountancy, Brad has managed graduate programs and accreditation efforts while maintaining high teaching effectiveness scores. Prior to his academic career, Brad worked as a Senior Tax Accountant at KPMG. Brad holds a Ph.D. in Accountancy from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and both a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics alongside a Bachelor of Criminal Justice from New Mexico State University.
