Heidi Carlson

Heidi Carlson is an experienced event management professional, currently serving as the Associate Director of Event Production and previously as the Assistant Director of Event Management at Northern Illinois University since January 2019. In addition, Heidi owns Events by Heidi, where a passion for creating beautiful events is combined with expertise in venue, food, décor, and entertainment. Prior experience includes serving as the Community Health Network Coordinator at Northwestern Medicine, where engagement with service-based organizations enhanced community health initiatives. Earlier roles include management positions at Gap Inc. and Levy Restaurants. Heidi holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Public Health Administration from Northern Illinois University and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at the same institution.
