Jennifer Butler Ellis

Jennifer Butler Ellis, Ph.D., is an experienced academic leader and communication specialist with a focus on professional development. Currently serving as the Director of the EY Leadership & Professional Development Center at Northern Illinois University since January 2011, Jennifer has previously held the role of Director at the E&Y Accounting Business Communication Center at Michigan State University from August 2003 to December 2010. Jennifer's academic career also includes a position as Assistant Professor of Communication at Western Michigan University from August 2001 to August 2004. Holding a Ph.D. in Communication from Michigan State University and a B.A. in Organizational Communication from Cedarville University, Jennifer has developed a strong foundation in communication studies and leadership development.
