Katy Saalfeld

Katy Saalfeld serves as the Senior Associate Director of Admissions Recruitment & Outreach at Northern Illinois University, with a tenure that began in September 2006. In this role, Katy has successfully initiated and implemented social media strategies for the Transfer Center and updated its website for improved navigation. Prior to this position, Katy was the Acting Director of Undergraduate Admissions and the Senior Assistant Director of Admissions. Katy's professional experience also includes a role as a Personal Trainer at National Fitness Center, where a significant achievement was selling the most personal training hours in the division. Katy holds a Master of Arts in Communication from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from North Central College, where involvement as a Student Ambassador occurred from September 2000 to January 2004.
