Lisa Miner

Lisa Miner serves as the Associate Vice President for Institutional Communications and Chief Communications Strategist at Northern Illinois University since February 2016. In this role, Lisa leads enterprise-wide communications, public relations, and social media engagement aimed at enhancing enrollment and brand awareness for the university. Prior to this position, Lisa was the Director of Public Relations at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, where responsibilities included serving as spokesperson and managing public relations for a major non-profit organization. Lisa also held the position of Account Supervisor at Hill & Knowlton Strategies, leading public affairs efforts for a variety of high-profile clients. Lisa began her career as a Media Relations Intern in the Office of U.S. Congressman Ray LaHood, assisting with media monitoring and event coordination.
