Sandy López

Sandy López serves as the Director of the Undocumented Student Resource Center at Northern Illinois University, providing comprehensive support, advocacy, and programming for undocumented students since July 2010. Previously, Sandy held the role of Technology Director at Illinois ASBO and served as an adjunct instructor at NIU, teaching American Sign Language. Sandy has extensive experience in program development and coordination, including the Latino Film Festival and academic advising for the Latino and Latin American Studies minor. Sandy holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Administration from Illinois State University and has contributed to various university service roles, including President of the Latino Alumni Council and Co-advisor for DREAM Action NIU.
