Connor Carville

Connor Carville is a Connections Development Manager at NIE Networks since September 2021, where responsibilities include facilitating connections to meet low carbon and renewable targets aligned with the Climate Change Act NI. Previously, Connor served as a Future Operations Engineer at EirGrid from September 2018 to September 2021, addressing challenges related to high levels of non-synchronous renewable generation. Earlier experience includes working as a Placement Design Engineer at Omexom UK and ROI from June 2015 to July 2016, focusing on the secondary design of electrical infrastructure, particularly substations and wind farms. Connor earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Queen's University Belfast, completing the degree in 2018, and attended St Patrick's College Maghera from 2006 to 2013.
