Cecilia Zambrano

Cecilia Zambrano is a skilled Naval Engineer with extensive experience in telemetry development and marine engineering. Currently serving as a Telemetry Outstations Developer at Northern Ireland Water since January 2023, Cecilia previously worked as a Higher Scientific Officer at the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute from January 2022 to January 2023, and as a Marine Technical Officer within the same organization from June 2019 to April 2020. Past roles include Naval Engineer Contractor at SEA-Tech Evolution Limited and ABCO MARINE, and Test Engineer at Minesto AB, where responsibilities included coordinating field tests and managing internal projects. Earlier experience also includes positions as a Research Assistant at Queen's University Belfast and a Consultant Engineer, as well as an internship with Sonamar S.A. Cecilia holds a degree in Naval Engineering from Universidad Austral de Chile, earned between 2001 and 2008.
