Paul McMurray

Paul McMurray is a Wastewater Analyst and Wastewater Strategic Planner at Northern Ireland Water since August 2021. Prior to this role, Paul served as a GIS Data Manager at The Precision Group, where GIS skills were utilized for a large-scale infrastructure project for an Irish Utility Company. Paul's experience also includes a brief tenure as a Mapping and Charting Officer at the Department for Communities, supporting the development of spatial data systems. Previous roles include a Graduate Assistant at WIS Group, where monitoring and analysis of waste products took place, and a Sales Assistant at TJ Morris, focusing on customer service and stock management. Paul began this professional journey as a Student Researcher at Mid and East Antrim Borough Council, investigating a reed bed sewage treatment system. Paul holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science from Ulster University, attained in 2017.
