Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission

Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission helps Northern Kentucky individuals and families develop the knowledge, opportunities and resources they need to achieve self reliance. Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission focuses on five primary areas of service: Early Childhood Education: quality pre-school education for low income and disabled 3 and 4 years olds to prepare them for school success through six Head Start Centers serving Boone, Campbell, Kenton and Pendleton counties. Community Services: temporary assistance, developmental services, counseling and supportive assistance. Housing: assisting families in securing safe, decent and affordable housing including weatherization and other home repair, rental assistance, home ownership education. Senior Services: assisting seniors to maintain their health and independence, enjoy their leisure time, and continue contributing to the community. Training and Education: training and educational programs that enable adults to acquire the knowledge and skills they need to improve their self-reliance and quality of life.
