Bob Alston

Bob Alston, EdD, currently serves as the Assistant Vice President and Dean of Students at Northern Kentucky University since July 2016, overseeing various student service offices and initiatives aimed at enhancing student well-being and belonging. Alston's extensive experience includes previous roles as Dean of Students and Assistant Dean of Students, where responsibilities involved supervision of student conduct and community care teams, as well as chairing strategic planning initiatives. Prior to Northern Kentucky University, Alston held positions at Western Carolina University and the University of West Florida, contributing to student ethics and residence life. Alston's academic credentials include a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Management from Northern Kentucky University, alongside a Master of Education in College Student Personnel Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Humanities from the University of West Florida.
