Zach Hart

Zach Hart is a seasoned academic in the field of communication, currently serving as the Program Head for Communication and Public Relations at Northern Kentucky University since August 2003, where the management of various undergraduate programs is overseen. Hart also holds the positions of Professor and Chair of the Department of Communication, supervising a substantial faculty body and a large number of majors. Previous educational experiences include roles at Concordia University Chicago, the University of Missouri, and Michigan State University, where Hart contributed extensively to communication education. Holding a Ph.D. in Communication from Michigan State University, alongside an M.S. in Journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a B.A. in Mass Communications from Western Illinois University, Hart has cultivated a strong foundation in both academic and professional settings, including early career experience at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in marketing and public relations.
