Mike Dufrane

Mike DuFrane is an experienced football coach currently serving as the Defensive Coordinator at Northern Michigan University since February 2023. Prior to this role, Mike held the position of Head Football Coach at Finlandia University from March 2021 to February 2023. Mike's coaching career includes significant roles such as Defensive Coordinator and Strength Coordinator at The College of St. Scholastica, and as Assistant Football Coach at Marietta College, Lyon College, Carthage College, and Loras College. Additionally, Mike has experience outside of coaching, having worked as an Apprentice Administrator at Mike Murphy Ford, where responsibilities included overseeing technicians and managing customer relations. Mike holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Carthage College.
