Shemer Ratner

Shemer Ratner is a physician recruited to HSN to join the Nephrology Department in serving the Northeastern Ontario region.

He brings his medical expertise with thirteen total years of post-secondary education that have taken him all over the world including to parts of Africa, Europe, Asia, the U.S. and South America. He attended medical school at Western on a full scholarship.

He has served as Chief Fellow of the Nephrology Program at Western, held various roles on local, provincial, and national level medical organizations.

In his free time, Shemer loves to spend time with family, kayak around Ramsey Lake, and hike in the Laurentian Conservation Area.
