John Coomes

John Coomes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in aviation and law. Currently serving as a Captain at New Pacific Airlines since September 2024, John previously held the position of Captain at Global Crossing Airlines and Republic Airline, where responsibilities included managing flight operations and labor negotiations. As a Partner at John J. Coomes, Attorney at Law since May 2010, John specializes in labor and employment law as well as aircraft management and lease agreements, holding licenses in both Ohio and Indiana. John’s educational background includes a JD/MBA in Labor Law from Northern Kentucky University, a Master of Science in Aerospace Operations from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a degree in Aviation Management from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Additionally, ownership of JJ Coomes Insurance, LLC, and pilot experience at ASTAR Air Cargo contributed to John's diverse skill set.
