Wendy Hsieh, PMP, CSM

Wendy Hsieh has a diverse and extensive work experience. Wendy currently holds the position of Vice President of Project Management at FlyCoin, starting in June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Project Management and Special Projects at both Northern Pacific and Ravn Alaska, starting in May 2021 and October 2020 respectively.

From 2014 to 2019, Wendy served as the Senior Director of Programs and Support at Precision Discovery. In this role, they were responsible for the overall project management function and project support services. Wendy also facilitated agile ceremonies and managed software releases using Visual Studio Team Services.

Before joining Precision Discovery, Wendy worked as a Project Management Consultant at Tata Communications from 2007 to 2012. During this time, they provided program management services for the construction of two cable systems in the Asia Pacific region, implementing effective project communications strategies.

Prior to Tata Communications, they were a Senior Project Manager at EarthLink, Inc. from 2004 to 2007. In this role, they led project teams in the planning, development, and deployment of internal systems and customer-facing software applications.

Wendy's earliest work experience was as a Senior Manager of Network Engineering & Operations at Asia Netcom (formerly Asia Global Crossing) from 1999 to 2004. Wendy played a core role in establishing the company's Asia Pacific operations and regional headquarters in Hong Kong.

Wendy Hsieh, PMP, CSM has a Master of International Affairs degree with a concentration in International Policy Analysis and Management from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Sociology/International Relations from Smith College. In terms of certifications, Wendy has achieved the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2011, the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance in February 2013, and the ICAgile Certified Professional - Foundations of DevOps (ICP-FDO) certification from ICAgile in July 2017.
