Jade Clarke

Jade Clarke (nee Byrne) is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in corporate communications and public relations. Currently serving as the Head of Communications at Northern Powergrid since June 2023, Jade previously held significant roles at Greater Manchester Police, including Deputy Head of Corporate Communications and Head of Media. Prior experience includes positions at Provident Financial Group, where roles ranged from Corporate Communications Manager to PR & Communications Executive, and a Marketing and Press Officer position at Selby College. Jade also contributed as the Editor of RailCONNECT and Oil&GasCONNECT magazines at Group Information Services. Educational qualifications include a Crisis (Response) Communication Diploma from the CIPR and a 2:1 degree in English Literature from Leeds Beckett University.
