Joy Gilman

Joy Gilman is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in nursing and leadership. Currently serving as the Director of Women's Health at Northern Regional Hospital since May 2021, Joy demonstrates a passion for caring for families through evidence-based care and personal development. Joy's leadership experience also includes a role as Charge Nurse at Northern, specializing in education, leadership, and patient care. Additionally, Joy is the owner of Gilly’s Shaved Ice, a mobile food vendor business that caters to various events. Prior to these roles, Joy accumulated over two decades of experience with HCA Healthcare as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Leader. Joy holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing Administration from Liberty University, a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Western Governors University, and an Associate of Science in Registered Nursing from Wytheville Community College.
