Shaysagiri Muthiah

Shaysagiri (Shays) Muthiah is a skilled metallurgist with extensive experience in the mining industry, currently serving as a Plant Metallurgist at Northern Star Resources Limited since February 2019. Previous roles include Graduate Metallurgist and Process Technician at the same company, as well as an internship at First Filter International in late 2017. Academically, Shays holds a Graduate Diploma in Metallurgy and a Bachelor's in Petroleum Engineering from Curtin University. Additionally, leadership experience includes serving as President of the Curtin Oratory & Debating Society, where Shays secured funding for participation in tournaments, and as Manager of the Curtin Football League, achieving recognition as Best Manager. Other contributions include organizing fundraising events for SPCA Malacca and facilitating external sponsorships for the Society of Petroleum Engineers Curtin Sarawak branch.
