Bert Saxon

Bert Saxon has significant experience in global procurement and vendor management, currently serving as Vice President of Global Procurement at Northern Trust Corporation since 2006. In this role, Bert Saxon has worked closely with the CTO and Technology Directors to define a Managed Service technology strategy, contributing to an $87 million savings business case. Responsibilities included establishing service level frameworks, governance models, and negotiating master service agreements. Prior to this role, Bert Saxon managed offshore vendor relationships, expanding them from 300 to 2,000 consultants over eight years. Earlier experience includes serving as Vice President and Division Manager for Worldwide Technology at Northern Trust Asset Management, overseeing a $12 million budget and directing IT for investment management systems. Bert Saxon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University.
