Farooq Jawaid

Farooq Jawaid is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in leading strategic technology initiatives across various financial institutions. Currently serving as the Chief Information Officer for Cash and Corporate Services Technology at Northern Trust Corporation, Farooq is accountable for technology leadership in Global Payments, Liquidity, and Foreign Exchange Back Office. Previously, Farooq held multiple senior roles at Citi, including Chief Information Officer for Citi Europe and APAC Head of Securities and Fund Services Technology, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing a significant application portfolio and implementing innovative technology solutions. Farooq's earlier career included strategic roles at Invesco US and Apache Corporation, with foundational experience in IT management at T H Hill Associates. Farooq holds an Executive MBA and a BS in Computer Science and MIS from the University of Houston.
