John Joyce

John Joyce, CFA, is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in business operations and financial analysis. Currently serving as Vice President of Business Operations & Finance at Northern Trust Corporation since June 2021, John focuses on developing key reporting and analyses for the Total Portfolio Solutions unit, including KPIs, profitability, and capacity planning. Previously, as Finance & Business Intelligence Manager at William Blair from 2013 to 2021, John implemented an activity-based costing system and led budgeting and reporting processes. John began a finance career at CNA Financial, holding roles from Financial Analyst Consultant to Senior Accountant, where expertise in financial forecasting, SEC reporting, and GAAP compliance was developed. John holds an MBA in Finance from DePaul Driehaus College of Business and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
