Sean Ghassemi

Sean Ghassemi is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software architecture and development. Currently serving as SVP - Chief Architect at Northern Trust Corporation, Ghassemi oversees a diverse range of technology initiatives, including Digital Process Automation and DevOps. Prior to this role, Ghassemi held various leadership positions at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where responsibilities included optimizing application quality, leading architecture and development initiatives across multiple lines of business, and managing teams focused on regulatory compliance and technology standards. Ghassemi's career began as the President of Puterwerk, a custom IT solution provider, and includes numerous consulting roles that featured significant contributions to enterprise architecture and software development. Ghassemi holds both MS and BS degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
