Diane Mucci

Interim Provost, Annandale Campus at Northern Virginia Community College

Diane Mucci is the interim provost of the Annandale campus at Northern Virginia Community College. Diane has also served as adjunct biology faculty at both Northern Virginia Community College and Trinity Washington University, where they coordinated microbiology courses and the biotechnology program. From 2000 to 2007, they worked as a scientist, writer, and editor at the National Library of Medicine - Lister Hill Center. And from 1995 to 1998, they were a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institutes of Health, FDA CBER.

Diane Mucci completed their B.S. in Biology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Diane then went on to complete their Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics, Biochemistry, and Microbiology at Mount St. Joseph University.

They work with Steven Partridge - VP, Strategy, Research & Workforce Innovation, Molly Lynch - Provost, Manassas Campus, and Nathan Carter - Chief Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Officer. Their manager is Anne M. Kress, President.
