Stefan Koch

Stefan Koch is an experienced rowing coach and educator, currently serving as a Park Ranger at NOVA Parks since May 2024 and as a rowing coach for Langley High School Crew since December 2023. With a coaching career spanning over a decade, Stefan has held positions including Program Director for the Robinson Secondary rowing team and Senior Boys' Coach at Oakton High School Crew, while also contributing as an Assistant Coach for the USRowing Junior National Team Development Camp. Early coaching roles include serving as the Masters Coach for NVRC and Head Novice Rowing Coach at Loyola University Maryland. In addition to coaching, Stefan has a background in technical writing at Data Matrix Solutions, Inc., and teaching World History at Eastside Catholic School. Stefan Koch holds a Master’s in Education and a Juris Doctor from George Mason University, along with a Bachelor’s in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
