Gretchen Magnuson

Gretchen Magnuson, GPHR, currently serves as the Human Resources Director at Northfield Mount Hermon, a position held since January 2024. Prior to this role, Gretchen held various HR positions including HR Manager at W. M. Keck Observatory and The Brattleboro Food Co-Op. Experience also includes serving as Senior HR Manager at World Learning and Talent Development Manager at HPM Building Supply, where Gretchen contributed to a family-run, employee-owned company with a rich history in multiple sectors. Previous roles include HR Manager at Luxury Family Hotels & Resorts and General Manager at Jug & Jazz in France, as well as HR Specialist at Gemini Observatory. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
