Ali Ojjeh

Chairman at Northgate Capital

Ali Ojjeh has been part of Northgate since 2004 and currently serves as Chairman. Ali served on Northgate’s LP Advisory Board from 2004 to 2016. Ali is the co-founder and CEO of The Capital Partnership (Ltd) (“TCP”). TCP is both a large investor in Northgate funds as well as a key shareholder of the firm. Ali brings over two decades of experience investing in and helping to build leading growth companies with specific expertise in international markets.

Prior to co-founding TCP in 1998, he worked in various departments at Goldman Sachs & Co. in New York, including Equity Research, Equity Proprietary Trading and Principal Investments specializing in Technology and Energy investments. Ali is active in education and serves on the advisory boards of the Graduate School of Business (GSB) and the Freeman Spogli Institute (FSI) at Stanford University. Ali holds a B.Sc. from Carnegie-Mellon University and an MBA from Stanford Business School. He also received the "Best article of the year" award from the Wharton Journal in 1988.
