Minga began her career as a Human Resources administrator for Charles Schwab. While there, she was exposed to different departments and the importance of supporting employee development, which is something she is passionate about to this day. Her career led her to HR consulting at Paychex, where she aided companies in developing and strengthening HR infrastructure, performance management systems, handbooks, and the lifecycle of HR. Minga’s first introduction to Northland was 13 years ago as a consultant for Northland through Paychex. You could say Northland has been courting her ever since.
Finally, in 2018 Minga felt at a point in her life to make a change and with the support of her family joined Northland as HR manager for the Americas. Since then her role has expanded to include global HR efforts, and she continues to focus on employee training and development. Her biggest pet peeves are poor communication and lack of constructive feedback, so she works tirelessly to help others work through challenges collaboratively. Minga also currently plays an integral role in developing Northland University. She is driven by her innate desire to support, nurture and help direct her peers. She is SHRM-CP and SPHR certified.
