Hooman Atefi, PhD, CEng, is an accomplished engineering professional with a focus on structural engineering and extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Lead Principal Engineer at Northland Power Inc. for the Hai Long Offshore Wind project, Hooman has previously held key positions such as Lead Structural Engineer at DNV and Senior Structural Engineer specializing in Finite Element Analysis at Subsea 7. Early career roles included Chartered Engineer at Mott MacDonald, Embedded Researcher at the University of Cambridge, and Offshore Structural Engineer at SNC-Lavalin.
